Early start because the beverages may take a day of planning, possibly a trip to the store, maybe an itinerary.

What's your lineup look like for this one?

Lite. Miller Lite. Need to be clear-headed to enjoy the game. Then I'll break out the good stuff afterwards to celebrate.

I had Space Dust at BW3. I had bought a bottle of The Abyss Brandy Barrel for the game, but ended up having to watch the game away from my home. I'm glad that not drinking my intended beer didn't jinx the Zags.

It's the one in the middle. It was a $25 bottle of beer. I think will save it for the next big GU game.

I still get ales from the brewer who wrote the recipe for The Abyss (and most of famous Deschutes beers). He lives deep in the forest and runs what is basically a one-man brewery these days. The beers are, like the Abyss, simply outstanding.

The new ones are also about $25 / bottle. Worth it.

I tend to stock up when I'm in Portland at Belmont Station (http://www.belmont-station.com/). His stuff flies out the door quickly, so it's a thing of timing.
