He was before this game. That was just the cherry on top. Now you know where the bar has been set Russ!

The debate is over. Brady is the GOAT and it's not close.

Was rooting for my pool numbers. Amazing outcome. ( The game, not my pool numbers. . .)

QB. And Coach.

Belichick is the GOAT. In terms of accomplishments yes, but in terms of skills Brady is talented, but I wouldn't say he's the best ever.

I read somewhere that someone put a bet in through his phone for $1.1 million - on the Falcons. Guy must have had half that money spent in the middle of the 3rd quarter.

I missed the 1st 3 quarters, but caught all of the 4th. From that vantage point, Patriots steamrolled ATL. (What happened to Falcon defense? Out of gas, apparently.)

ESPN ran a column on some of the large bets made on the game: http://www.espn.com/chalk/story/_/id/18585473/super-bowl-li-biggest-bets-atlanta-falcons-new-england-patriots-super-bowl

On Tuesday night (Jan. 31), William Hill sportsbook in Reno took a $137,500 bet on over 59 on the Super Bowl.

A bettor at a William Hill sportsbook put $4,800 on the "No" on "Will there be overtime in the Super Bowl?" at -800 on Jan. 28.

A $200,000 money-line bet on the Patriots (-150) was placed on Thursday (Feb. 2) at a William Hill sportsbook in Las Vegas. If New England wins, the bet would net $133,333.35.

All the hoopla surrounding it is so contrived to the n-th degree. It's becoming harder to believe the actual game isn't also.

The Patriots have won two of these now that probably would have been losses if the other team had just ran the #@$% football.

I was so close to turning it off when it got to 28-3, but decided to keep watching - and glad I did. I didn't have a rooting interest in this game, but that was pretty impressive what Brady and that team did tonight...

Agreed... The Seahawks and Falcons just needed one more run to cement the games - Such a fine line between goat and GOAT.

BIGGEST CHOKE I've ever witnessed besides the Seahawks. My son and I were both yelling at the TV that all they needed to do was run the ball 3 times, kick a 41 yard field goal, go up by 11 points with 3 minutes left and win the game.

Something about Seahawk assistants and former assistants who would rather throw the ball and give the Patriots the game. I don't understand it. Patriots didn't win it, Falcons choked it away.

Two classic examples of opposing coaches trying to outsmart Belichick. He's definitely in their heads.

Can't stand the Pats, but I tip my hat. The Atlanta owner should have stayed in his skybox until after the game was over. Atlanta will not get over this as an organization. Poole (#34) was a 12th man for the Pats last night, with numerous missed tackles and defensive holding penalties that kept drives alive for the Patriots.

Arthur Blank looked like a fool, almost as much as when he had man-love for Vick.....BUT, he is consoled by his darling wife/sister (?) and jillions from sales of nails and tiles at Home Depot.

I changed the channel and watched Bill Maher. I checked twitter and saw that the Pats were within 8 and turned the game back on. As a Seahawks fan, I know how Falcons fans feel today.

I fear Mr. Blank aged 10 years during the fourth quarter. Never should have left his owner's box. Doubly bad that Mrs. Blank was with him, a violation of (unwritten) protocol.

I'm old enough to remember the show he had on ABC, it wasn't that bad. Then he went over to the dark side...lol, yeah, don't get me started either. To put it bluntly, there is no such thing as reasoned political discourse anymore. Not when the home of the "free speech movement" has riots protesting an appearance by someone they don't like.

Not this week, not with SMC looming, watch party on Saturday night, "Big D" with us all week, good weather in the forecast.

Tell Big D to work on his handle.....and keep shooting......

I turned it off when it was 28-3 because I knew the Patriots would come back and win. This league is too predictable.

If you didn't see that coming, I hope you enjoyed your first NFL game....

Will be a bit of a challenge, soccer starts up next week. There's a hoop on the trampoline in the backyard (wife bought it for the boys for Christmas), and we have a basket in the driveway.

As the great Hank Egan (USD, AFA, Spurs, Cavs) once told my young sons: "Ya gotta love it."

I LOVED that catch he made, when the ball was tipped and somehow he came down with it, between the defenders legs!

That was as good a catch as his interception in the end zone against Seattle.

And, if it wasn't for those two plays (and several others as well) would you even be talking goat?
