Well, jazz, Malcom Huckaby is certainly an outlier. . .a part-time ESPN employee who grew up in Bristol, CT

I don't recall any of his career as a PG @ BC.

Have a great day

Anyone but Branch...am tired of hearing of all the places he has played in the world...ESPN must be hurting for "Color-people"...believe I could do better blind folded listening to Santagelo

Much prefer Malcolm Gladwell.

Now that would be an entertaining color commentator

NO argument Bogo. This year, they've put some people behind the mike who are untrained/untrainable. Just awful.

I thought these guys did a decent job, not too much blathering and not overbearing. Huckaby was a definite improvement over Branch. They also kept up with the game, not always easy in a blowout.

I have to say that I really liked Malcolm Huckaby. But I suppose anyone was going to look like the greatest color analyst in history after having to endure Adrian Branch Thursday evening.

He mentioned that he did the radio color for ESPN broadcast of the Zags earlier in the season so he was somewhat familiar. He has an interesting background.

BD - what is that grading system again that is used to gauge the popularity, competence, etc., of sports announcers, sideline reporters, etc. You referred to it in a thread where we were talking about Bill Walton and how we couldn't understand how ESPN kept rehiring him.
