If this one isn't unanimous...I just don't see how anyone else should even be considered. No doubt the Zags lose tonight w/out NWG. The team got rattled but he completely took over in the 2nd half, was just about the only Zag scoring.

That was a transcendent, Ammo-like game by NWG. He should have cemented POY tonight.

If anyone doubted Coach Few's comment about NWG being the best leader he has ever had, well, this game was Exhibit A.

Uh, Nigel. He's was responsible for this win. His teammates did some things well tonight, but were disappointing overall.

Only one option in the pole needed.

Ummm... if anyone votes for someone who isn't "The Boss" Williams-Goss... you had better have a good reason.

That one stretch where NWG scored 11 straight GU points after BYU had greatly cut into the lead was just tremendous... This team answered each and every BYU rally - Great Job!

Jw3 played very well in first half that allowed us to build the lead we had at half

I couldn't vote for NWG in this game because the Guitar strumming by Rem was his best of the year. It was the difference tonight.

Except for the free throws...a minor point.

Nigel played all 40 minutes ... in outstanding fashion I might add. Next highest for Zags was 27 minutes (Perk & Melson).

Great win Zag Nation.
I'll throw my honorable mention vote in for Collins.

6 pt, 8rbs, clutch FTs, huge blocks, defensively elite tonight.

Really only took 2 real shots that were missed. The one under the bucket got ripped before he got it above the waist. Also, didn't get any touches in the entire first half. Didn't fold one bit.

Also ZERO turnovers for Collins.

Goss was the backbone, leg bone and brain tonight. Impressive.

NIGEL!!

Could have, would have, should have, Romar?

Team had some deer in the headlights moments; hope those are out of the way before the dance this year.

Go Zags.

I can't go with Collins tonight. Felt his NBA stock went down. He usually goes to work when he gets the ball in the paint, tonight he usually passed out. Also continued making avoidable fouls, which so far has been one of his weaknesses. Williams as usual was the energizer bunny in a good way, but NWG was The Man. We finally have a go to guy, first since Ammo and KO.

So you were the lone gunman that voted for other. I was thinking that vote came from Sin City.

Nigel was everything tonight.

A leader, a scorer, he was the calm in the storm. He set the tone. I thought that Zag shooting from the parameter was sketchy.

Thinking about this game, and something that is probably not talked about enough is that The frontcourt can afford to be a aggressive because they are so deep. Especially the Big 3. Not to down play Tillie, but I think jis true position will be a 3/wing. He's a Post player in a pinch imo. That said brings great energy and is a glue guy for sure.

Zaga, if you are suggesting that I either live in "Sin City" or have something to do with Collins. I wish. Love the tables, but can't afford to be there for too long. Would love to be associated with Collins. That could mean

Guess that means that I won't be posting about Collins anymore. I'll keep my opinions to myself. I've deleted my comment as not to offend you.

Not sure what you are talking about. Honestly, my post had nothing to do with you. This is the first time I have seen your name on GU Boards.

Carry on.
