Game was originally 7pm on ESPN2 and now moved to 5:15pm PT on ESPN

One luxury of being undefeated. Longer this keeps going the more games will be in prime time on regular ESPN channels

Does this make it the Gameday game or the possibility for it to be?

If I had a guess it's a real possibility. They usually announce a week in advance. Look for an announcement soon

IF (Yes, BIG, HUGE, if) we are lucky enough to get Gameday, what stinks is, our students are on break. I know that they will come back for the game, but the College, historically, hasn't had the support that you have all had up there, in regards to the students and opening the dorms a day early. It would be a much different atmosphere if our kids were on campus all day, as opposed to just coming for the game.

What break are they on? Too late for winter, too early for spring, right?

The SMC students are on spring break from 2/4-2/12. Game takes place 2/11.

One would hope that enough local Bay Area students will be around to fill up the student section, regardless of the dorm situation.

This is great news for Randy and his program. SMC is in the top 5 in total wins the past 5 years or the past decade. I forget what it is. Of course GU is on that list as well.

Sorta too bad if they got gameday before we got one at GU. It is because of US that they'd be getting it. IMO.

Better to be on Gameday even if it is an away game than no gameday at all.

Gameday came to Spokane for the Stanford game in 2006 and I believe again for Memphis in 2009?

And Butler in '13. Mrs. Woohoo and I were in attendance for that one. I don't want to talk about it though.

SMC is on a 4-1-4 schedule, the 1 being a one month January term. There is a week-long break between Jan term and the spring semester

You guys deserve a Game Day, we need to spread the wealth around. I really don't know if it helps recruiting, but it's free advertising.

Good call guys. Totally forgot that Gameday came. I'm getting older, and it HAS been quite awhile since.

Yes ..... although the Memphis game was actually played in the Arena (and did NOT end well for the Zags)

The Stanford game OTOH was a great, competetive college basketball game http://www.espn.com/ncb/recap/_/gameId/260422250
