      Absolutely. I've been pushing No Injuries for a while now. You just never know when one will strike. Bunch of them on several teams just in the last 3-4 days.

      I know he hit hard, but I think he'll be OK. Sore but Ok. Hope I'm right!

        JMHO... even if he is OK... sit him for next game.

          @Jim Meehan Tweeted:

          "Williams-Goss enters locker room on crutches"

          Tweet time was 7:05 pm. Terrible news.

          Hope it isn't a hip pointer.

              Maybe, maybe not. Might be that it is the best way to keep weight off of it, even if it because he is sore.

                Ugh. This is going to kill me. Our dream for a national title is done if this is serious. Final four may be too

                    I can tell you what Coach Brian Michaelson said on post game radio regarding NWG. He said Nigel came down on his hip. He will receive treatment tonight and tomorrow and most likely will be good to go Monday. How he made that determination I do not know but in my heart of hearts I hope he knew what he was talking about. In any event I'm assuming the crutches are not indicative of a season ender.

                        Breathing a sigh of relief.

                        From Meehan's Twitter:

                        Williams-Goss pt. 1: "Just went baseline and went up and got hit. When I landed, I kind of landed on my hip, but I think I’ll be alright."

                        Williams-Goss pt 2: "I think it's something like a bone bruise. I don’t expect it to be anything more serious than that."

                          Okay doctors. If it's as serious as a bone bruise ... is this something that will linger on and keep him in pain or does it go away after a week or two?

                            Sit him on Monday. Why risk anything? It's these situations where the whole "respect every opponent, treat every game like it's the Championship Game" mentality does more harm than good. We are 24-point favorites. Time to start taking advantage, where we can, of the fact that we play in the WCC.

                            Side note: Why was NWG even IN the game at that point? We were up by, what, 25? With under 5 to play? A lesson needs to be learned here.

                              . Sounds like it's turning out about this way. Too close for comfort, though.
