Anyone know why they are so slow in posting player profiles--and other details? Seems to me they should be the first to post, but year in and year out they are the last.

This is Milton. He runs the site out of his aunt's trailer but also works two fulltime jobs at Safeway and D&S Janitorial, so things can get slow. Milt does what he can fueled by Mountain Dew, but the truth is that he just doesn't have a bunch of time. I'll e-mail him and have him put some pepper on it.

dim4sum, from time to time the topic of the athletic dept web site has come up, often accompanied by links to other sites for "Top 25" hoops programs. In comparison, GU's web presence usually is found wanting. I've even written notes to Mike Roth & Oliver Pierce on the topic. . .

I suspect at the end of the day it's a matter of resources-- staff and cash-- along with the site being pretty far down the list of priorities for the AD.

FWIW, it was my frustration with the school site (and the Spokesman-Review's insistence on paid subscriptions to access their Zags coverage ) that lead me to find the old Scout board. Now, I can pretty much satisfy my curiosity for all things Zag at this bulletin board.

THAT'S it! I knew it was either something like that or Milton. Thanks for setting me straight.

Someone needs to by Milton a new computer, monitor and printer. At best he's using a 386* and a dial modem. Thanks for clearing up cause of the slow updating of the GU site Phish, with the processor and modem Milty's using he is still uploading info from ten years ago.:p

*or perhaps its an 286 or heaven forbid an 8088

I think you are being generous w/ the 386, that thing looks like it only has 5 1/4 inch drives lol. Milton FTW!!

Honestly, it's the 24-pin dot matrix printer that earns him high praise in my book! Mine used to be so loud you'd need earplugs to avoid permanent hearing loss.

I think that's a cassette drive on a 14.4 dialup (bepooh bahpooh be be be). He said he'll update the profiles after his daily 2-hour session of Zork.

Milton, if you're reading this, they're casting for the Tony Perkins part in a remake of "Psycho". You're a shoo-in. Before heading south for Hollywood, be sure to update the player profiles, or turn the job over to the former disgraced mayor of Spokane, even if he is dead.

Even in his current condition Jim West can get the job done faster than Milton.

My similar 386 had one of those orange or amber monochrome monitors. That one is one of them new fangled color ones.

And what the hell is the captain's wheel for?
