We had them last year in Moraga until the Zags fell apart. I don't see that happening this year.

No they're not. They are a very good mid major program who lost by 24 points to a very good high major program.

Remains to be seen. We didn't have them with Landale in for even half the game, and at times he was unstoppable.

OTOH - we had several guys that they simply couldn't stop.

For 3/4 of the game, that was extremely high level basketball played by both teams.

SMC is a good team. Played us well till 8 min left. I thought Landale was screwed with those ticky tack fouls. We did well but our rebounding got much better in the 2nd half without Landale around or when he had those fouls. Hermanson played well as he does. SMC should be in the NCAA tournament. We'll likely have 2 more games with them. Despite this game's outcome, they'll play us tough. Their guards had an off night I thought. Either that or ours played very very well.
