Me too. Would be nice if that win started to take some more shape. Heck they already beat BYU ... add Utah that's pretty dang good

They lost to Wazzu though. Got way behind in the 1st half, battled back but came up a bit short.

True but as long as we can find Utah valley with 21-23 wins that would be nice

Akron would be a nice win. Already 80's for RPI, and will keep winning, probably will win their conference.

They are very much like Utah Valley, more athletic though..

Pulling for the Gators vs the Dukies. Have never liked Duke, though hard to argue with Coach K's brilliant record. Respect 'em, don't like 'em.

Purdue up 47-21 over Arizona State. While I do think Purdue is good, I also think ASU is really bad.

No Hurley magic?

Couldn't stand him as a Dukie, don't like ASU, perfect recipe for me seeing him fail there.

Hurls caught lightning in a bottle at SUNY Buffalo and that plus the name got him a job he really isn't prepared for. Danny, however, is the real deal at URI. Bobby was a great college player.

Last year Arizona State spent $10.06 million on its men's basketball program. More than any team in the Pacific 12. Even more than Arizona and UCLA.

And this is your result.

The curtain of distraction better be better than ever this season because this team is really bad.

Maybe the football coach and basketball coach should switch positions. Doubt it would hurt!

Florida looks legit right now

I thought they looked awful. Played much more in control vs us, just missed their shots.

Gators play frantic, unorganized, & had 10 TO's in the 1st half -- majority of those unforced.

Duke hitting shots, esp Kennard (he's an amazing player), but Florida could easily be tied, but now down 10. They are penetrating with ease, just can't finish.

Florida's offense isn't polished, nor a single 3pt threat They have one play, & if another option is needed, all goes to hell.

Florida might be the most physically impressive team in NCAA 1 thru 5, yet if you can't hit the 3pt shot and offense is rudimentary, you won't go far in the Tourney.

Gators are more imposing than Duke, or really anyone, besides Kansas or Kentucky, but can't hit shots.

The Gaels have 2 "creampuffs" coming in, UTA Thursday who beat Texas by 11 last week as Texas is tied with Michigan (6-2) tonight and UC Irvine on Sunday as UCI was staying with Arizona tonight (I should have written this post earlier to help my point). Lots of patsies can rise up and grab you. Ask Ohio State tonight.

You can now forget whatever I said above. I just wanted to add to my post totals.

I'm not sure what that really means or what the next designation is. I just want to keep on posting what suggests that I'm still "around" assuming a ghost writer hasn't supplanted me.

Explorers playing overrated Cats even.

Big 5 games are a unique entity. Lots of ghosts around the Palestra that seem to effect the bounce of the ball. And the LaSalle kids, this is their game of the season.

Nova may be overrated, but they've earned their overranking.

Did hell freeze over tonight? Sean Miller actually played a zone. For more than a possession or two. Only after 2 players had 4 fouls with quite a bit of game clock left, but still. He also doubled the post several times. I guess even stubbornness can be overcome when the situation demands it. Cats hit 8-17 from 3 and had 22 assists. Just a little bit different stats than the other day against Gonzaga. Maybe GU's defense was pretty good. I would guess that Ristic was ecstatic he didn't have to try guarding Karnowski again. The big fella had 18 and 10 on 8-11 shooting, easily his best game of the year. Markannen was fairly quiet...then heated up real quick. Also had 18, 7-10 from the floor and 4-6 behind the arc. Again, maybe GU's defense was pretty good. Alkins chipped in 14 and Allen had 12. Cats were up by about 30 until they brought in all the walk ons.

Is Florida Atlantic not a cream puff because they beat the buckeyes? I'd rather have one victory over Arizona than 7 against Florida Atlantic. Sure they could beat you, but it's a much, much, much easier W.

Watched the Zags/Zona replay last nite.

Most impressed how we defended Markannen. Our guards got up in his grill, JW3 swarmed him, & Collins length surprised him, he swatted Markannen's drive, & so did Tillie. Was obvious how frustrated he was...counted 5 different defenders on him throughout the game.

UCI did not nor cannot defend this way.
