We are the deepest team in CBB

As has been shown twice now, we can play way less than our best and still win by 20. Every commentator says that we're the deepest team in cbb and they're right. This team is special.

It's amazing really. Four players in double figures tonight and four more within a basket of double figures. No player with more than 13 points. Everybody's a threat to score. It's going to be a fun season watching these guys progress.

      The Deppest team?

      Sorry. Had to do it.
“No team in the country has a better winning percentage against power conference teams since 2017 than Gonzaga... the Zags are playing above average teams in the best leagues in the country and winning 78% of the time.”

Oh man. Your pun was great though, because he also is very deep in the different roles that he can play.

Florida will be a good test to "test" this theory about how deep we really are

I think you're quite right. To keep the deep mantra going the Zags will have to be quite hungry and play smart. I hope not to see any Zag in foul trouble and especially not Collins. We'll need to keep the deep to win convincingly. It's in this sort of matchup that I really like having Few calling the 'shots'.

Noticed dub-g reminding Collins to stay vertical during the game yesterday, right after the frosh got his second (I think) foul. Zach will learn to use his length to block shots when he's in the help role and his height to just go vertical when he's got a player going right at him, but it most likely won't be by tonight.

Key to this game will be WIII, IMO. He needs to not rush, not dribble in the post, and be opportunistic. If so, ZAGS by 10 to low teens (provided the threes fall per average).

Depth will be important toward the end due to fouls, Tillie shines again as well.

              Go ZAGS!
              Go ZAGS!

Only watching the ball, misses at least 80% of the game.

We're so deep we just beat Florida with only 5 men on the court and they had 8; that's deep!

I agree thespywhozaggedme, I thought the reffing was lousy tonight. We won so we can ##### about reffing and not be accused of sour grapes. That was lousy I thought. Good job by the team perservering

The officiating was absolutely atrocious and I never complain about refs. Not only was the ft disparity absurd, but every single 50/50 call went Florida's way. But again, Dickie V and the new guy both pointed out how deep we are, as has every announcer that has done our games this season. Our depth rocks!

3 foul outs and we overcome a horrible 1st half effort to bag the win against the Gators. I would say "mission accomplished".
