UConn's had some injuries, but nice to see LMU playing tough against a "name" team. :argh:

As we know, injuries are part of the game. A win is a win! :)

UConn freshman Alterique Gilbert dislocated his left shoulder. Huskies down to Loyola Marymount. Have already lost to Wagner & Northeastern.

Turning out to be quite a good game at LMU. Nice they can have a big name come to their house. Go Lions!

LMU just couldn't hold on.

Looks like BYU played everyone. A lot. Good for them.

I didn't realize that insurance companies are now fielding teams and getting into the business of playing basketball games against D-1 universities.

So can we infer that UCLA is 10 points better than SDSU and since we beat SDSU by 21, then we beat UCLA at home by 11? Isn't this how "new math" works or is this algebra?

I don't like UCLA. I was hoping the new freshmen were being overhyped and that getting the ball out of Bryce Alford's hands so the anointed new superstar PG could do his thing would be easier said than done. Unfortunately UCLA has looked good so far and Ball and Leaf may just be as good as advertised. Maybe the Bruins will be in the mix for the Pac 12 championship this year.
