I'm taking my 8 year old son to his first zags game this season (you cannot begin to fathom my excitement!!!)

For his birthday, and since this will be his first game, I'm wanting to buy him a zags jersey. I've been browsing 'the interwebs' off and on all day today, but I'm not seeing ANYTHING?!?

Any help/tips?

I would be so very grateful.

Woohoo, I'll be at the game Friday and can look for a jersey for him at the ZaGshop. PM me his size and also measure one of his shirts--armpit to armpit and neck to hem. If you have a preference for number (player) let me know.

pretty sure anything that can be purchased on campus can also be found online.

You're amazing. Thanks for looking for me!

So I just measured him (I had him put on a jersey he wears for his little basketball league). From the arm pit to arm pit, his jersey was 11 inches across the front. From the neck line down to the bottom of the jersey, it was 18 inches.

Now...that right there fits him exactly snug. I wouldn't mind (and might even prefer) that it be bigger than that. Maybe at LEAST 12-13inches acrossed, and 20-22 from neck to the bottom of the jersey.

Also, I'm wanting to get an actual authentic jersey...not a fake cotton one or anything like that. This will be his first nice zags gear/jersey, and it's part of his birthday present, so I don't mind splurging a little. I'd say I'm comfortable spending up to $75 on it. I'm not sure how much the youth jerseys cost, but I know the authentic adult jerseys can cost that much. Also, I'd say grab a white one if available, and then next choice is blue.

For the number, here were his choices, in order of what he prefers: first choice is 10, then 11, then 3, 2, 5, 4, 21, and 20.

Hope that all makes sense. Thanks again for checking for me Marcy. You're the best.

Maybe there's a Stockton jersey around! Some people thought he was real small! LOL

You can try here.

A good place to get pro sports and NCAA memorabilia. Sometimes they have some really good sales before Christmas.

Where does time go? I thought I'd remembered something about a newborn, and well, here it is.

HOLY COW!!!! That's amazing. Wow. Seems like yesterday....

Thanks for finding that. Kaleb is growing into such a great boy, and he makes me very proud. He's pumped about his first zags game, and can already name all of the new zags players. He's also really getting into basketball. He just turned 8, and....I don't want to sound like I'm bragging on him, but he's got skills. He is an excellent dribbler, and very quick. I take him up to our local rec gym one night per week and we work on all sorts of dribbling drills. I post one down below from a couple weeks ago.

Just for fun, because that thread SWzag linked me to brought back memories, here are some pictures of Kaleb growing up into quite a zag!

This is Kaleb, a couple years later, feeling pretty cool in his moms zags jersey. lol. I love this one...

My grandson's 6, let's have them play best of three, one-on-one. :lmao:

He doesn't have your son's skill at dribbling, but he's lightning quick on his first step, and he's deadly from the arc.

Back on point, I still haven't been able to find a Sabonis-Thunders jersey for him.
