Sorry I can't provide a link, but I lucked out and found the box score for the Thunder v Warriors game the other night. Can't find it now, but DS played around 25 minutes, scored 13 points, plus RB's, plus a block and an assist or two.

I thought he was just supposed to be coming off the bench! I even think he may have started the
Warriors game. Has DS exceeded expectations? Was a Thunder starter hurt? Don't know but looks like DS is more than a little ready for the pro game!

I believe Sabonis has started several games, but has been averaging under 20 mins. In the Warriors game he was on the court down the stretch.

More than a little ready. Steal of the draft. As Collins will be. Charismatic kids.

Down the stretch? It was garbage time, but Domas got in some good minutes. He's been starting, but is having trouble staying out of early foul trouble. That should ease with experience, and catching up to the speed of the NBA game. I expect he'll be playing in the Futures game during the All Star break.

Most importantly he is playing VERY wisely, apart from those fauls. He has to get use to the league. Actually he had the same problem in Zags at some point. Oklahoma will be pretty average this year whilst compared to the Durant-Westbrook-Ibaka team but they have bright future. Domas will be huge steal in a year time.

`I was in the locker room at the gym the other night, and glanced up at the TV to see the Thunder on. Literally 5 seconds later, Sabonis hit a 3 from just left of the top of the key. Looked very comfortable shooting it.

I think giving Sabonis a starting position was Presti's (Thunder's GM) plan all along when he traded for him. Domas was projected to have a relatively low ceiling, but a very high floor meaning he could contribute right away. Here's some highlights from the last couple of games:

Thunder fans are praying he stays healthy. Oladipo won't be able to pick up the slack if RW misses extended time.

Well yeah, but same goes for most of NBA's teams. Clippers would be much worse without Chris Paul, San Antonio would suffer a lot of they lost Kawhi Leonard, Houston would probably become the worst team in the league without James Harden and so on.

Domas looks like he is moving less mechanically now. Has some added bulk, too.

Has almost as many threes in one game as in his whole sophomore year in GU :D

His last 2 three's seemed to be as the shot clock was expiring! First NBA double/double! Congrats Domas!!!
