Arizona escapes a headline making disaster. Won by 8, but was closer than that. Not impressive. Markannen had 21, but overall the team seems to be lacking shot makers. Maybe Chico St. is a really good D2 program. There were a few stretches where Arizona asserted themselves, but overall there wasn't a noticeable difference in size/athleticism/physicality like you would expect.

Out schedule is interesting to be sure but there's nobody we can'tbeat. When we work out the 'who does what" part, we'll be ready to beat anyone.
That much talent is here now and more next year. It's a top ten team we have. When the scribes see these guys you saw last night putting up V's, the guard question will be resolved as will the frontcourt questions. With or without Shem playing full time, we have scoring and rebounding machines with Tillie, Collins and Williams.
