Everyone. Anyone. Doesnt matter. We had to win the WCC just to get in and our guards are lousy.

Sweet Sixteen is sweet gravy. Holy crap.

Sabonis because he neutralized their main threat while putting together a good game.

Went with EMac cause he was the senior leader that lead a great team win.

Did any of the voters for the Kareem Abdul Jabar Award watch this game?

If so, did Sabonis just win it?

Domas shut down the Pac 12 POY.

EMac... but this team is unbelievable - EVERY player makes some sort of great contribution to these wins. But Emac has so much heart.

EMac was the first among equals in this game. Great to see the team playing it's best ball of the year at the most important time. On to the Windy City!

Other. Team defense. They played together on that end like I have never seen before. Wow.

Agree with this statement but I went with EMAC. It really doesn't matter, the whole damn team played terrifically.

Easy because he is the heart and soul of this team. Everyone played great but I think he lifts them all.

I don't know how any of them feel at this point, but if any were on the fence, then Domas may have picked up some extra votes.

A couple of comments. honorable mention to the support and engagement from Mt. K. He was a huge cheerleader! Second - a prediction - if Zags play Syracuse, over/under about 50.... Plus, we get one more day of rest than our next opponent.

Tossup Sabonis/EMac; voted Sabonis because of the job he did on Poeltl.

Sabonis -- filled the stat line, plus great D! Another great team win; balanced scoring and arguably the best defensive game of the year. Playing their game, these Zags can stay with any team in the tourney.

I've never voted for Team before but I did tonight. I don't think I have ever seen any Gonzaga team play a better overall game, given the talent and characteristics of this particular team. Virtually every member of the team played a nearly perfect game, playing to and exploiting their individual roles and strengths. WOW is all I can say. What a joy to watch!

I voted Other ..... for ZagNation!
It's basically a perfect storm - Zagwise. When a teammate falters another (or 2 or 3) steps up. With the fan base thrown in .... YeeHaw! ZagNation - ZagVille is rockin' the house!
Thanks guys! WOW!

Absolutely. Because his patience was tested this year and he built a trusting brotherhood that has no limit now. Confident, controlled, and most important...they are now big time hunters.

YES! Karno was really into it! Great that he's a big part of this ride and a force on the team. Man, I saw him spring out of his chair real good a few times. Good sign for a tremendous guy and true team mate.

I take emac and the rest of the guards. As Few said after the game, they have taken too much cr@p all season. In both games in Denver, they were suppose to be the weak link, but they weren't and it is off to Chicago.

although its usually not true of our wins,
so I had to vote for eMac

I voted Sabonis because of the job he did on Poeltl. He was the pac-12 PotY and a consensus top 10 pick if he declares this summer. And Sabonis dominated him at both ends of the floor and made it look easy (I know it wasn't). But really you couldn't make a wrong pick tonight. Everyone played fantastic. This team is so much fun to watch.

I voted for Sabonis, solely because his ability to guard Poeltl without excessive help took away the Utes' entire offensive plan. He didn't have open lanes to pass in out of the post, and they seemed completely unable to operate offensively without that. Also, he was apparently recovering from the Flu and looked like he twisted his ankle at the end of the first half. So, you know, sick and injured and completely dominating the consensus best center in college basketball. Just your average day at work. It was hard not to vote for McClellan as well given that he continues to skyrocket up my list of favorite all-time Zags.

Great team effort but it started with Domas. It was very clear in the first 5 minutes of the game that Poeltl was completely out muscled. Sabonis moved him wherever he wanted to with ease on defense. And when Poeltl posted up Domas just locked up his base and Poeltl couldn't move him. I think those who haven't played against him have no idea just how strong this guy is. He put on a clinic.

Defense wins championships.

Was stunned by the guards flying around, shutting down Utah's two guards, and making those 'outta no where' blocks that showed their toughness and athleticism. Boy was I wrong about KD when he was tentative early in the year. It's been fun watching all 4 guards literally grow before our eyes over the last few months.

Like Dickie V says on the ESPN site, "Gonzaga is peaking at the right time." Baby!
