Thanks. Fun reads over there (I was mainly scoping the Pirate Hoops board). They seem pretty down to Earth.

    It's gonna be a battle.

Thanks for the links. I was hoping someone posted those this morning.

Seton Hall fans are more worried about Sabonis than Wiltjer. I think they watched the SMU game and view that as a true measure of similar opponent. They are also concerned about the elevation but no one seems to have mentioned the travel and late tip off. It will be a 10:00 pm east coast tip off for them. This has to be a factor; cross country travel, playing at elevation and a very late start. GU will need every bit of help they can get to beat a very good Seton Hall team.

        GO ZAGS!

I would be very concerned about Sabonis if I were them.

They should be worried about Edwards, too. Should get some easy baskets with his height and offensive touch.

Alberts could get lost in the shuffle too.

Anyone playing GU should be concerned about Sabonis, but that doesn't mean they should overlook Wiltjer. Quite frankly, I would be thrilled if Seton Hall's game plan was so focused on Sabonis that they have no game plan for Wiltjer, Perkins, McClellan, Dranginis or anyone else who could get hot. Zags' guards were peaking in Vegas, really hope they carry that into Denver.

From a poster named "Bud Boomer:" [Wiltjer] Can't guard anyone. Run him through ball screens, and attack once he's forced into a switch. St. Mary's did exactly this, and Wiltjer made Emmett Naar (who's basically a slower version of Jaren Sina) look like Allen Iverson out there. Kid is a great offensive player, but a total liability on defense.

That's one of the only statements I've agreed with on that forum.

Emmett Naar is not a slower version of anyone. He's just ENaar, and that dude is quick.

but yeah, Wiltj can't defend fast guards on the dribble for extended plays. this is not news.

I suspect we'll see some zone D from the zags.

When does Gonzaga leave for Denver? It sounds like Seton Hall is there today.

Seton Hall had a South Orange Police escort to the airport. Their board is excited about that.

Their board seems to respect us and doesn't seem anymore crazy than our board.
