View Full Version : Great Rating by DeCourcey for Josh, but....

Has Josh rated #6 out of Top 10 Centers, but says he could be #1 if he really loved Basketball. Probably a backlash over last years incident, but I think he may be a little severe. When Josh kicks this foot injury He will light it up. I don't believe that lack of desire was his problem, just bad judgement.

Santa Clara has got to be drooling over that development. Since they'll be playing the Tree in the non-conf, they might slip in a win before the team (theoretically) jumps in quality if/when Lopez comes back for the Pac-10 sched. Unless Robin Lopez has come a long way, SCU might have the best bigs on the floor in that game. Of course, there's still Hill and Goods to worry about...

I have to say, I think DeCourcey was dead on about Josh. If he played every game like he did vs UNC or UW, he would be the most dominant big-man in the country, no question. But, instead, he had games like @ Virginia or vs Butler where he disappeared. Perhaps the harsh fan attention he'll likely suffer this year will keep him from being passive (plus, hopefully he'll be more consistently focused). It'll be hard for him to just coast in the face of constant taunting, I'd think...
