A few good games on today. Im watching Notre Dame and NC State now. Didnt think I'd like NC's style of only having one player (Kat Barber) but dang if they arent fun to watch. The Irish too; theyve got a former GU recruit (if Im remembering right) in Rex Pflueger who isnt playing great but man do I like their motion offense. Wish GU would go back to that. Senior day for the Irish but NC is keeping it close. Very good game imo.

Other Games:
Georgetown and Villanova
Vandy and A&M
Ohio State and Michigan State
Ole Miss and Tennessee
Clemson and Boston College
Seton and Depaul

Somehow missed LSU and KU.

The outcome is predetermined but it should be a highlight filled game.

West Virginia at Baylor & Louisville at Virginia, two ranked teams playing in both games.

Several games with bubble implications. Butler is hammering Marquette currently.

Really? He looks healthy to me.

'Zona somehow has 40 at the half in a game where they only had 2 FG in the last 8 or 9 minutes. Weird.

I hope he is. But he's lost a ton. Looks so much younger. Good for him.

They said he lost 40 pounds. That's gotta put a little spring in your step to jettison that much extra weight.

York is going off, 28 points on 9-12 from behind the arc. New career high and 3 FTs coming up after TV timeout.

Marshall of Wichita St. I'm assuming? They can't be feeling very comfortable about getting into the Tourney with that loss. Really struggled in OOC without Vanvleet, and the MVC ain't what it used to be.

Slight advantage to BYU getting to finish at least 6 hours before GU/Portland even starts

I was thinking it was more of an advantage from the coaching/preparation standpoint. My guess is BYU is game planning more for GU than for Portland.

Could be, I don't know for sure about # of attempts. But if you're hitting them at a 50% clip might as well keep shooting them.

Yes, I watched, too. It felt like many a GU big game in that the basket that "would have put the comeback over the top" and maybe swung the momentum for good just refused to fall and ended up leading to the other way.

BYU sure looked average, but I'm sure that's just first game stuff.

North Carolina finally beat Duke, it's been a while.

Oregon St. beat UCLA. Beavers finish .500 in conference, might get back to the Big Dance for the first time since Gary Payton was playing there. Now GPII might get them back. UCLA fell to 6-12 in conference. What the heck happened to the team that thumped Kentucky at home and beat Gonzaga on the road?

My understanding, based on my LDS law school classmates, is No. No work on Sundays. I don't want to speak out of turn, because I am not LDS, but I believe that while not completely ironclad, in almost all situations, no work on Sunday is the rule.

Sounds good. :)

that is one bet I'd be more than happy to lose. I have no pride whatsoever. If we would have had to go Portland, Santa Clara, LMU to get to the tourney, I would have been just fine with that.

Frustrating b/c I think if SCU had hit one of those 2 threes to take the lead late they would have had a 50-50 shot at winning, makes such a difference mentally, ask KW and Duke at 4:00 minutes . . . . ouch.

Rahom is so good, especially at those little dipsy doo things in the lane. I would love to see Few use all five of Edwards' five to just give him a nice demonstration of what happens coming inside.

Never tried. Interesting.

Obviously I am in no way holding you to it, just a fun thing - but are you set up to do it? PM me about even how to do that if you have time later, I've heard of it and know the economic theory behind it, but never really thought to set up a way to receive payment by it.
