Gonzaga (3-2) continues the Alamo Irish Classic Saturday, Feb. 27 with a pair of games. The Bulldogs begin the day at 1:30 p.m. Pacific with a game against Bradley and follow up with a nightcap at 5:30 p.m. against Incarnate Word. Both games will again take place at Nelson Wolff Stadium. RHP Justin Vernia will take the hill against the Braves while fellow righty Hunter Wells will get his first start of the year versus Incarnate Word.

One-run loss in 12 innings, three-run win on Saturday

SAN ANTONIO, Texas—The Gonzaga University baseball team continued play at the Alamo Irish Classic Saturday, splitting a pair of close games during a two-opponent doubleheader at San Antonio’s Nelson Wolff Stadium.

Gonzaga (4-3) will wrap up the Alamo Irish Classic Sunday, Feb. 28, with a single game against tournament host Notre Dame. First pitch for that contest is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Pacific (11:00 a.m. Central), again at Nelson Wolff Stadium. RHP Eli Morgan is slated to take the mound for Gonzaga while the Irish will counter with LHP Michael Hearne.
