Arizona's Allonzo Trier out 4-6 weeks

Broken hand suffered in the 4 OT loss to USC last night. Fellow freshman Ray Smith was lost for the year with a knee injury. Tarczewski just returned after missing close to 10 games. Injury bug is biting the Cats hard this year.

He will be missed big time. He is one of the two guards who really hurt Gonzaga. He had a great game against us. Injuries have a huge impact on teams who suffer them. And for the Zags this is the second year in a row that we've had a key player out for an entire season.

No doubt plenty of teams have had to deal with injuries to key players. At least it sounds like he should be back before the end of the season. He just took over the team lead in scoring average after the last game. He's their best player at attacking the rim, draws plenty of fouls and hits his FTs at a good clip. He's really been coming on strong with his 3 point shooting after a cold start to the season. He'll definitely be missed.
