Nobody's hotter than the Rockies. Their shortstop has a bleepin' CANNON of an arm!

They just ripped the hearts out of the Padres last night.

Noone from the NL even has a chance this year.

I am taking the Red Sox, since they are the most complete team. My heart says the Cubs, but they have broken it so many times.:(

Just like the NL had no chance last year?

Alright Lothar, to be more mathematically correct, about a 1/4 or 1/5 chance. Chances like that go to the 20%'er every once in a while.

I know what u meant. I stated the same thing last year and if I bet, I probably would have put money on it.

But I sometimes forget that it doesn't work that way...by the time thing get to the WS...you never know...

. . .that the team voted a share to the widow and family of minor league coach Mike Coolbaugh who was struck and killed by a line drive earlier this summer. Those of you with Sports Illustrated subs. may have have read the article about the incident in SI a few weeks ago.

Very classy and compassionate move.

ESPN Coverage (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3049388)

Rockies manager Clint Hurdle said the gesture spoke volumes about the quality of the character in their locker room.

"I was passed on the information that they voted Amanda Coolbaugh a share, a full share, which I found speaks to their awareness, speaks to their passion, speaks to every good thing about them," Hurdle said.

   for the Rockies!!

P.S. Yuck the Fankees !!
