Very interesting game tonight between Arizona and Seton Hall (with Kris Dunn) at 8:30pm.

Arizona needed overtime to beat Santa Clara last night.

Cal just got upset by Richmond after losing to SDSU last night.

Never really got on their bandwagon at the start of the year like others did just because they brought in a couple of big name recruits.

Final is Providence 69, Arizona 65.

Beating Arizona may not carry the same cachet it usually does this year.

Don't know why I always get Providence and Seton Hall mixed up.......

Arizona was without Tarczewski tonight.

Probably not Vinny, but they did play the entire game without their starting Center & they seem to have a much bigger drop-off at the position than the Zags (as most teams do).

BTW, Kris Dunn is the real deal.

Haven't been able to watch either game in the Wooden Classic. Just looking at the box score, significant change to Arizona's starting lineup (one was because of an injury I think--Tarczewski). I'm guessing Coach Miller was so pissed off about the performance against SCU that he decided to bench a bunch of players. Didn't quite work out. Now UA has a rematch with Boise St. Kinda weird, just like Texas and UW got stuck playing each other for a second time this season.

Miller also said that Tarczewski might be out multiple games. Which could mean, of course, next week's game at the Kennel.

Kris Dunn is the best combo-guard I've seen play this season.

I can see why he's projected as a Top-10 pick.

He single handedly dispatched 'Zona.

It hurt Arizona sans Zeus. Gave up a ton of boards to Providence

No no no no, nope, I want Arizona at full strength by the time they come up here. That big oaf better be ready to have his **** pushed in by Karnowski

Brownridge from SCU nearly beat them single handed the night before. Any Zags guard up to it? More likely Wiltjer or Sabonis.

Dunn's awesome, but I think he played limited minutes due to foul trouble. And even with him Providence is a bubble team at best. Plus Arizona nearly lost to Clara last night.

Santa Clara loses, now 0 -7

Portland drops their game to fall to 3 - 3

The WCC aggregate W-L record stands at 22 - 28.

The WCC winning percentage is currently lower than such powerhouses as the Big West, WAC, and Big Sky conferences. The Gonzaga RPI is going to suffer in league play.
