Zags led by as many as 24 and never looked back! Bulldogs gave up the early bucket to start the game, and UW started just the way they wanted to with their young talent, but then the whistles took over and really interrupted the flow of the game. For the third straight game the Zags were really impressive coming out of the locker room at the start of the second half. The Huskies made several small runs in the second half but never really threatened.

Wiltjer, Sabonis and Karnowski in double figures, team shot 50%. Not so good from the perimeter today (only 2-8) but the team went to it's strengths on the inside. Murray and Andrews for UW each with 21 but 11 of 36 shooting to get there. Teams combined took 74 free throws.

Zags get winner of Texas-Texas A&M. When the Huskies cut it to 7 with 13 minutes left in the first half that was as close as they got. The referees really kept the game disjointed. Wiltjer had a double/double in the first half. Zags won rebounding batttle 47-45 but they gave up 22 offensive rebounds. GU executed really well on the offensive end, stuck with their game plan, as mentioned they only took 8 three point shots. Sabonis continues with great high level play with 17 and 9, 2 assists and a steal. Very few easy shots for UW, all those shots they missed, the majority were over outstretched hands. A couple easy buckets on steals and transitions. Zags had 17 turnovers to 12 for UW. Sabonis had most minutes of the three bigs today. Majority of shots from the inside for the Zags today. Not many threes because once the ball went inside there was really no reason to kick it back out.

Bulldogs were a little sloppy with the basketball but UW couldn't take advantage of it. Perkins on the bench a lot in foul trouble part of the reason. UW was averaging about 60 rebounds a game but the Zags outrebounded them. Even with all those offensive rebounds UW really never got the quick putback, basically they got the rebound and then missed another shot.

For whatever reason there apparently are going to be no post game player and/or coach interviews. All the above is post game banter between Hudson and Santangelo! Guess that's it for the post game show today!

If I were a player in the Bahamas, I wouldn't want to stick around in the gym either...
