Let's include what we'd like to see in this game.

Gonzaga 91
UNA 72

I also predict that Wiltjer will get 33 points matching the number on his jersey.

Like most everyone I want to see the three bigs playing at the same time. I haven't seen this lineup yet. And I also want to see our guards play. I'll be looking for some good three point shooting, as I've seen many reports that we don't have any, outside Wiltjer. And last I'm looking forward to watching KyleW play. I love this guy and how he plays the game.

I predict a dry floor and that the GU guards will silence some of the folks on this board.

Should be a beat down, say 90-71.

I hope that the guards start dropping in some 3's, as they will really be needed later on. One important stat to keep in mind with regard to 3's is the percentage away from the "friendly confines" of the Kennel. As I recall, KP and GBJ shot lights out from beyond the arc at the Kennel, but considerably less on the road or at neutral sites. The guards, not including KW, need to go 35+ percent away from the Kennel to keep the defense honest.

Can't wait to see how the year turns out...........

Anyone seen NAU play? Any ballers of note?

well now I'm thinking that i'm really getting excited to see our guards play and shoot well. I was a guard and I love guard play, and love seeing our guards hit the 3. It's time for our guards to show this fan base that they can play and shoot. Our guys need to step up and play like Zag guards. They need to understand the importance of that position in the history of Gonzaga basketball. As they reflect on this, we're going to see much better performances. It's time for EMac to step up. He's a very good guard and now just needs to go out there tomorrow and show it. The others too, I am dang tired of our guards getting ripped on the board here. Come on Guys...Get yourself together and start playing like you can. Remember why you were recruited by Few. You ARE good.

The Lumberjacks will be on south hill working the trees today -- lots of firewood for the offing.

Go Zags - Beat NAU!

It's game day. Finally I will get to see our Zags play. Can hardly wait. Excited to see them on the court once again. Can hardly wait to see Kyle Wiltjer hit some threes from WAYYYY OUT. haha I'm excited to see how the the Big Three play together. And who plays with them. Gonzaga has great coaches, and great players and they will figure out how to make it all work, in time. I am not opposed to the idea at all. It's not who starts that is important. I want to see who finishes the game. And how THAT group of five play together.
