It's important to remember why they are playing at a Marine Corps gym three days after the USMC birthday. Of course it's important for our Zags to win, but it is only a game. Meanwhile our Armed Forces are waging the fight for civilization. Like a Marine recruit that is transformed by a drill instructor from a civilian into a highly disciplined, fully capable member of a successful team, so too has Coach Few transformed his squad into a winning combination. I will be rooting for the Zags; however, I will be pulling even harder for the Service men and women who are deployed overseas serving our country.
