If you get Pac 12 Network Arizona is on tv today at 5 pm in their exhibition game. Channel 578 for me, Frontier cable, not sure if Comcast would be the same channel. Chance to scout an upcoming opponent.

Watched the game. Can't take too much from an exhibition game. Cats actually struggled most of the game, Chico wouldn't go away. About the midway point of the 2nd half a 10 point lead ballooned into a 30 point lead nearly instantaneously. UA couldn't find the range from behind the arc, only hit 2 for the game (and the first one wasn't until midway thru the 2nd half), low percentage.

Biggest takeaway is that Ryan Anderson looked really good. 19 points 8-9 FG 10 rebounds several blocks. Could be a huge improvement over Brandon Ashley who was never consistent and only rarely showed any intensity.

PG position is up for grabs. JC transfer (RS last year) Kadeem Allen started, last year's backup Parker Jackson-Cartwright came off the bench again. Neither looked great.

Ballyhooed freshman Trier was decent, finished with 13 but most of it came from the FT line late in the game. York had 13 as well (Sr. starting 2G) and C Tarczewski had 12.

Plenty to work on for UA. And in a huge surprise, Arizona actually played zone D for a couple possessions. Miller DOES NOT play zone.

Tollefsen didn't have a particularly good game, shooting was off, some TO's.

U mean UA was brave enough to actually allow a cable broadcast of its exhibition game?
