Karnowski is so overshadowed by Wiltjer and Sabonis, it's laughable. Karno should dominate the WCC this year and has as good of a chance at WCC POY as Wiltjer, IMO.
There WILL be games this year when Wiltjer is cold and Karno bails the team out.

not sure what you can take away from fiba performances, but for what it's worth, karnowski significantly outproduced and got more playing time over the summer than sabonis did for their respective national teams.

I am guessing that if Wiltjer gets attention like Ammo did, Karno could hide in the shadows with 19 ppg like JP did.

Nothing would make me happier. He's easily the most underrated player on the team, and has arguably the most complete game (aside from being a foul-magnet).

Lithuania is a bit more noted for basketball than Poland, so pt may be harder to come by there.

I am glad our men are getting recognized, but I still believe that it is wrong to name a player as pre-season POY that has never, consistently, faced the level of competition as University brings. He will be palying against bigger, stronger and more talented across the board...and I understand AAU has better players, but most are not as team oriented.

I wonder if any of the sports pundits that do this, go back at the end of the year and review their prognostications?
