I was hoping some of the seasoned veterans on here could help me out on confirming something. I have tried searching high and low to see if and when the zags every wore these black shorts with this all blue colored WCC patch. It would have been worn in the 2006-07, 07-08 seasons I am thinking. All the typical patches I have seen always had the red and blue conference patches, so I am trying to determine if and when the all blue ones were worn. Does anyone have any secret photo's in their files they might be able to help confirm?

I'll be honest, if you know reds are legit... my guess is the blacks are a fake. Kerning on the fonts are WAAAAAYYYY off. Look at the tightness of the lettering on the red and then the blue. Companies in general have spent a ton of money for branding even down to the kerning and usually have a base electronic version that is used to generate everything.

Kerning??? Look at you, LIZF. Herb Lubalin and Milton Glaser would be proud. Next, you will be talking about the leading.

I had to look the word up. I could have used some kerning on my senior thesis.

A larger font as well, eh TZF?

That's an understatement. The typewriter I used had 10 & 12 pica font. With today's technology, I could have had that thesis completed in a few weeks. Of course, fewer afternoons at the Bulldog would have enabled me to finish it sooner, too. I earned an A in the course of study called "The Gonzaga Experience." It prepared me superbly for four years in Germany.

That was ok then, but now I prefer 14...easier on the eyes.

99% sure both shorts are indeed real and authentic. They are both 3XL which I don't think they released to general public. This was before the sizing was the newer 38, 40, 42, etc. So I don't know if the Zags actually wore a patch like the blue one, or did someone just slap one on there.
