Thanks guys for materially adding to our Zag fun (and addiction!). Well done.

Sorry it didn't work out, fellas. You've been a valuable resource.

Looks like you guys are stuck with me for good

Follow them @ZagsWillMarch and see what happens. The next incarnation could be even better, no more baby steps in those slippers.

On the cusp of GUs golden year, seems especially sad.

Ugh yeah this stinks - I always loved their game write ups and recruiting stories!

Well thats just not the news I was looking to start my Friday off with.

Again, it sounds like this is more of a moving on/changing of ventures than an end to what they do. Best wishes moving forward.

Thank You for all you both did in keeping us updated with current information. I will miss stopping by on a regular basis to catch up.

I don't use twitter or those other sites...just so much with which to keep up...:)

Best of luck to you both!

Meh. If they are getting another site, then I'm all good. If they are stopping completely, MK and I, and a few others might need to do some talking.

Superior insights. I will miss SSF. Thanks for everything guys. You might think about FOX sports giving you a position for NW sports. We surely have little now.

Hillary, I mean Doc, empty your dam emails already.

Look forward to hearing where the new site pops up.

Thanks, gentlemen, for the intelligence and insight you shared. You and your forum made us all more knowledgable and better Zag fans. We (at least those of us who do not do social media) will miss you very, very much. Wish you the best fortune in every aspect of your lives.

Unless you gentlemen are replaced by something of 2/3 your quality or better, this will be a big loss for us koolaid slurpers and zag fan devotees. The whole fan base really.

you will be sorely missed

although Bleacher Reports have gotten a little better over the last several years, they never approach your level of professional journalism, IMHO of course

Zach and Max did a great job. I recall treating them to an Italian dinner at Ferraro's in the valley and it was exciting to hear what all they'd be doing. Was always pulling for them. They have great futures ahead of them. A couple of really good guys.

I've found following Zagaholic @ZagsGuru on Twitter is an excellent source of info if you're looking.

Guys, I have followed your page for the last few years. It was part of my day. Check GU board and then yours. Thanks for the great times. Sorry to see you go.

As for Max and I, we aren't really going anywhere. Without giving all the details away, we simply couldn't really come to an agreement about the future of the site with the folks at SB Nation (who are truly awesome) and so we will be moving on. We are exploring our options at this time but will still be bringing you our thoughts and recruiting news at our new Twitter handle:

We hope to have a new site up in running in the coming weeks or months but will be taking some time to enjoy our newborn boys (yep, we each have one!) and screaming about Gonzaga basketball from our couches and, of course, new Twitter handle.

Will SSF continue under new staff / ownership ? Or will it go dark ?

Good luck with your future endeavors. Enjoyed SSF and considered it a fine resource for Zags coverage.
