OT. How hard is it to get season tickets?

My friends and I were talking recently about season tickets to various sports teams. The only team that I would have to have season tickets to are the Zags. I even stated that if I lived in Spokane, I would absolutely get them, done deal.
But how realistic is that? Can the pat deal get done? I know there's a waiting list but do $$ contributions move you up/in?
    Any ideas?

Last I heard even with contributions the waiting list was 5 years.

For what it is worth, possession of GU season tickets is a major item in Spokane County divorce settlements.

Last year I talked to them about what I would have to donate to go to the top of the list and was told that the year before the people who got tickets (very few become available each year) had each donated about $25,000 in the previous 10 years.

Except the Packers' stadium holds about 12 times what our gym does.
"After holding open practices during his first three seasons, Romar closed them to reporters last season, citing the "Gonzaga factor." He felt his team was compromised before the 2004-05 game against the Zags, that the opponent awaiting him and beating him 99-87 in Spokane seemed a little too well prepared."

                  Everything has a price.

Ask yourself if you'd rather have a brand new mid-sized European luxury sedan, or Zag season tickets starting this year.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

I'm a little ashamed to admit this, but I would pay the $25K.

I'm pretty sure you could somehow get that included in a home improvement loan or line of credit

I would spend that 25k and use it like this...

                        For the wife and I
go to the Battle of Atlantis - $2500 could be more
go to 3 home games this year (AZ, BYU, Peperdine) - $1000
                        WCC tourney - $2500

Repeat for the next 4 to 5 years...

Add to that a low level membership in the Bulldog Club and you should be able to get into quite a few of the games while students are on break.
