Gonzaga also showing interest in 2016 Croatian combo Bruno Skokna. Arizona, Weber State, Loyola (IL) and Dayton also in the mix.

Draft Express (http://www.draftexpress.com/rankings/International-1997/) lists Bruno as a 6'4" point guard and only the 37th best international prospect born in 1997.

Croatia finished in 12th place at the U18 Euro Championships this year (the top international prospect Dragan Bender did not play due to shoe contract issues), but Bruno still performed well for them:

NBADraft.net (http://www.nbadraft.net/players/bruno-skokna) lists him as a 6'3" PG/SG. From the 2015 U18 Euro Championships from July 23 - Aug. 3, they said (http://www.nbadraft.net/under-18-european-championships-top-prospects-0) "Bruno Skokna, a crafty PG with amazing scoring instincts."

Scouting report (http://www.nbadraft.net/rome-nike-junior-invitational-tournament-top-prospects) from Dec. 27-29, 2013:

Bruno Skokna (1997, PG/SG, 6’2”, Cibona Zagreb, Croatia)

Skokna is a crafty combo guard with a great combination of quickness and physicality, he puts forth a lot of energy and intensity on the court. He plays mostly as a primary ball handler, but he still lacks elite playmaking skills and most of his assists come from his ability to beat his direct defender and finding teammates after the defense collapses on him. He’s really effective in pick and roll situations both with a consistent jump shot from midrange or by attacking directly the rim. With his solid body and good athletic abilities he’s able to reach the rim quite easily, often drawing contacts. He’s also really effective in off the ball game, mastering the use of screens and cuts to find space for the shot. With his great motor he often changes the rhythm of the game, being a lethal weapon in transition. He needs to work on his three point shot, which already shows good mechanics and on his ability to guide the offense in the half court game, evolving as a true point guard.

So, a Pangos-esque Croatian, then?

Pantos was a true pg, this guy is an undersized combo guard; Melson part 2?

shooting wise. maybe.

The Kroatian kid is known for his physicality and hard-nosed play. Pangos was tough/scrappy, but physicality and hard-nosed style would never be used to describe Kevin.

Bruno is more Dellavedova-esque than Pangos.

Head-down, intense, deceptive quickness/strength, draws and forces contact, not overly smooth, but can shoot, and score. Will muck it up to get the upper hand, plays to his strengths.

Delly was 6'4". Bruno is 6'4". Pangos is 6'1.5".

"Combo guard" and "Stretch 4" are becoming entirely over-used terms in basketball.

I guess I need video, because of the snippets of him I saw online (which is not enough), I did not see a "Delly" type player.

That's what I really like about Sabonis. I like this kid already!

I was thinking Dellavedova too!
