The line starts getting fairly long about an hour before doors open. So you gage from there just how good of a seat you want because it is first come first serve.

The line is VERY long an hour before the doors open. In fact the line is pretty long two hours before. If you are going with friends and have someone to visit with, earlier is better as long as the weather is nice. Food and drink are available. Dress warm!!! I've been on some cold windy days that were uncomfortable in line. Some dedicated people go early, park close, take lawn chairs, then return them to the car before the line starts moving. The event isn't all that long so I also tried going late when most people were inside and the line was really short. I had to stand through the scrimmage (instead of in line), but that made for a shorter afternoon. Enjoy!!

Last year I got in the long line around 3:15. It took about 20 minutes to get in. There were plenty of seats in the upper section.

Thanks all! I'll likely get there around noon to 1:00. Very anxious to see how the team looks :) I have plenty of cold/wind clothing if needed.

Anybody know the reasoning for the policy that prohibits outside items from being autographed at the event? Until this change I had a ball signed every year that I display in my office and have about 10 at this point. I've been really disappointed I haven't been able to continue it the last few years. If the policy is NCAA related I just don't see how it could be a violation.

Forecast for Sept 9 and Bailey's arrival: Partly cloudy, 79 degrees, campus in falls colors, never looking more glorious. For Saturday? bit of a problem, starts to drizzle later in the day, but comfortable 70.

That's fine, Bailey's first impression of the campus (presuming he isn't in late at night) will be one of sun splashed GU in fall with warm weather. Can't dial it up better for a first impression. I've never seen him play, but trust those here who have and dearly want this young man - basketball families have been very very good to us.

Is this going to be on tv or radio in Spokane?
