I just saw this quote on SB's Dawg Pound website: "The Huskies were one of the first power five schools to recruit Fultz ... ."
Does anyone know what the puppies consider themselves to be a part of when they use the term "power five schools"? I first thought it must be the powerful public schools on the west side: UW, WSU (Vancouver campus), Seattle U, Evergreen State, and Central Washington (Des Moines campus). Or perhaps it refers to the five King County powerhouses: UW, Seattle U, Central Washington (Des Moines campus), Seattle Pacific University, and the Art Institute of Seattle. Or maybe it's a reference to what they consider to be the five most powerful basketball teams that have the husky as a mascot:UW, UConn, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, Michigan Technological University, and St. Cloud State University.
Perhaps someone on the Board can solve this mystery for me?
