Not sure what I'm gonna do without my guy @c.griffs next year, but I'm extremely excited to see him play football!

Football was primary thing in high school --sounds like he is following his dream.

Don't blame Conner one bit if this is the case. I hope it works out for him for sure!

So that keeps a spot open for backamus or Triano though which is cool. Really will be weird next year though.

I don't think it really affects those two as they are walk ons as well.

I never know whether to take Rem's tweets seriously. Is this legit or just Rem being a goof ball? (not that there's anything wrong with that)

IF it is true, best wishes to CG moving on. Will miss his attitude to get to the rim and play above the rim. He will make one heck of a football player - Not sure what he played in HS, but surely a great athlete. Best of luck. Once a Zag, always a Zag!!

If it's true, I wonder where he's going to play..

At 6'4" and 212, he's got the frame and athleticism to make it work...

He played WR in HS. He's 6'4.5" now. 215lbs.

He's a terrific athlete, yet not a speedster.

I'd like to see him try defense, such as a DE or outside LB. He'd be a nightmare rushing the QB or in coverage with his natural vertical and physicality.

I feel his best chance at serious D1 football would be at a H-back/flank TE or bulk up some and be an athletic OLB or DE. He certainly has the tools, attributes, athleticism, and work ethic to do very well.

He did receive a couple football schollies out of Lake Oswego, and most scouts felt he was vastly underrated prospect. He was overlooked a bit due to his position, although he racked up 900+ yards receiving his straightline speed wasn't the greatest.

Will be interesting to see where he transfers to?

True on Rem but if Conner is Meeching, I wish him well.

The zags are re-introducing the pig skin!? That'd be kind of cool...

Too bad for us and good luck to Conner.

Every time I looked at him I wondered why he wasn't playing outside linebacker for some PAC school.

He had a knee issue in high school, but must have worked it out.

That's why I didn't post it when I saw.

With his hops and good height he would seem to be a good end zone target.

Eastern?

If this is true, Portland State is also in the Big Sky. Would make sense as a landing spot.

wonder if there would be a chance for the Conner to get meaningful minutes, a-la Mike Hart...
The young man is clearly an athlete... you'd think could work his way to at least spot minutes as a defensive specialist.

If he's gone, I'll miss those crazy dunks he throws down in exhibition.

Am I the only one that thinks Triano looks jacked in that second photo...good lord!
