Per the USA Today coaches salaries range from a high of Kentucky's John Calipari at $6,356,756 to a low of Southern's Mike Young at $162,043. And yes, Mark Few is on the list:

Methodology here if you wonder where they got their information:

Coach Few needs a raise!

I'd love to see a list of salaries for assistant coaches.

I am starting to wonder what our expectations could be next season. I am thinking we could legitly make it back to the S16. I wonder. . . . . Mark Few is the best coach per money spent. Bar none.

GFan 62...we'll be an elite 8 team next year if the bigs stay around. I have little doubt that it'll take the younger guards to get some experience but we do have EMAC, Draino and Perks ( for you whiners about his Jenks name).
We're so strong out of the box, we'll be top 5 with talent to back it up. Not to tamper with memories, Kevin and Gary ( much loved kids) really fell off in their shooting the last 1/3 rd of the season.

If someone can just give us a fraction of what Assistant coaches make relative to the head coach, that would be really helpful.

I would think, given the salaries, that if a successful program like...oh, GU, has stellar assistant coach who for the purposes of this discussion I'll call Tommy Loyd, whether that fraction of the head coach's salary is like 1/2, 1/3, 1/5, 1/20 plus all the gear you can fit in?

Yup. He should be in the Top 50 too. That guy made Davidson basketball.

That other pay column is funny. That must be from summer jobs like mowing lawns. Couldn't be some BS booster bonus or Nike? Nah ...

Not sure how accurate that list is. I am comfortable in saying that Few's total compensation is much much closer to $2,000,000 annually.

Summer camps. You all would be SHOCKED to know how much some of these coaches make in camps.

I want to know what the $284 "other pay" is for Rice. Does one booster, probably a little old lady, send him a check for $23.66 each month?

I wish Few's ranking could be raised, not for the $$ aspect but for being valued for what he is worth, relative to other top coaches.
Does anyone know if there is any movement with the decision makers at GU go raise his salary significantly, in the near future?

I have no qualms with Few's pay. Just hope they're keeping tommy happy.

Do you have any data to support the statement about KP and GBJ falling off toward the end of the season? Or is it more of an anecdotal observation?
