Your Call --One Item You Hope a Specific Player Will Work on in the Off Season

Karnowski = Free Throws ---get from 50% to 65-70% (too much to ask in a single offseason?)

Option B. Karnowski --increased elevation (through better physical conditioning)

Melson - I have faith in all the player tht are currently on our team. I would love to see more consistency in his overall game ... He seems very inconsistent. Maybe working out like pangos and going to the gym would solve that. Maybe it's just a sample size and my perception. Idk.

I think 65% would be too much. But 58-62% or so is doable.

For me, get any of the guards...Draino, Melson, Perkins, whoever...to 40% from behind the arc and I'll feel reeeeaaaaal good.

        Melson - passing/vision

        McClellan - finishing, a floater

Sabonis - court IQ, face-up game

        Karnowski - right hand

        Wiltjer - muscle

Edwards - lose baby fat, lean muscle

Alberts - mental & physical prep for PT

            KW...better alley-oop passing
            Karno...FT improvement
            Edwards...get mean and lean
Perkins...understand what leadership role will mean
McClellen...kick out if you are in trouble, master the fade away jumper
Dranginis....keep that awesome MoJo going...nail threes
Sabonis...let up on the butt hurt act a bit
Melson...play your game within our system

Regardless I firmly believe this team next year will be stunningly good with some rookie mistakes salted in by the newbies which is to be expected.

              One item, specific player:

Sabonis face-up game from free throw line: (knock down that jumper / controlled dribble drive to the hoop without taking a charge / passing into the low post).

Yeah, agree with many others, single greatest tool we could get is that our rising star Sabonis can dribble drive to the hoop without barreling over people, spin, etc, and shoot face up out to 10 feet.

Drainginis - get 3pt above 40%, huge, he'd be able to drive through the lane so much better if he was a real threat from 3.

Wiltjer - continue to get stronger, put on 10 pounds in the abdomen/shoulders

Perkins - Wear a football helmet, don't get kicked in the face.

Melson - study up and work out to become a defensive stopper like Dranginis

                EMac - Jump shot, consistent.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

KW, lift a weight, please. He has the body of a 17 year old and he's amazing. Imagine if he dedicated himself to the weight room.

                    Draino: less careless, lazy passes/turnovers.

Sabonis add a close in jumper

Wiltjer really improved his rebounding, continue to work strength and work on defense

                      Melson attack the basket more

Edwards become very aggressive on scoring

emac look to score, defered too much

PK work on more shot types

                      KD slashing & 3's

Sabonis and Karno - more fluent with right hand shots close to basket, and that free-throw line jump shot. Wouldn't even mind if Sabonis could step out and hit some 3's (didn't I see that in some of his European highlights?)

                          Karnowski working on the FTs.

Sabonis working on not getting the over-the-back foul.

Wiltjer get more work with conditioning coach Travis Knight.

Perkins is perfect in my book.

very very small sample size, but perkins was @ 40% this year...i actually think that the zags should have 2 guys over 40% (not including kw) considering how wide open the 3's are going to be with the front-court dominance.

i'll go out on a limb and say that alberts will be over 40%...

as far as 1 single thing to help the team...without knowing what the young guards will bring, wiltjer better on defense would probably make the biggest difference.
