Pangos and Bell: 2 achievements, and possibly two more to come

1) The program achieved it's first AP #1 ranking while they were here
2) The program received it's first number one seed in the NCAA tournament while they were here.

What could be coming if GU wins its next 4 games:

3) Two number one seeds in four years. That's impressive even for a blue blood program, but it's even more impressive when you consider that GU is a non-BCS school who had never been a number one seed before Pangos and Bell got here.
4) They will averaged 30 wins a season during their careers.

....getting to the program's first final four would be a nice way to top it off........

As Mark Few recently said, both are winners in every way. It's going to be hard to see them go.

-Remember BZ a year before Pangos arrived, "want Pangos, bad"
Remember same time period, everyone talking "Can we get the next Steven Gray from the west side?"
Remember Bell blasting through his HS senior season, named WA HS POY
Remember first or second game for both, Kevin gets first start (?) goes for 9 threes against WSU? Remember Few interviewed after Kevin goes for 30ish in that game, second in college jersey, stating; "He's a player, but also a freshman, he'll have games like this where he goes for 30, and he'll have games when he doesn't score" - thought it was the stupidest thing Few ever said, was convinced Kevin would only miss a half dozen shots in four years.
Remember Gary makes first start about his fourth or fifth game?
Remember Gary tying Kevin for most 3s in a game - 9. Didn't shoot again after tying the record (typical Gary).

I'm just getting started, but others can jump in.....

5) If (when) the Zags win tonight I'm pretty sure it will be the first 18-0 WCC season.

2 30 win seasons in 3 years. Never happened before they got here. No first round tournament exit if they can win their first game. All this after surrendering the first conference championship and tournament title to someone not name GU in their first season. I'll take it
