I guess UCLA enjoys UofW chicken as well. After UNC game last year, I guess I can see why. It would have been a FUN game. :D

Wooden wild card: Gonzaga says it wanted to get into the Wooden but UCLA wasn't that interested.

I was just going to post this article, but found it already posted. There are quite a few mentions of the Zags there and along with Memphis, it seems like we are right at the top in OOC scheduling...

From the same ESPN article "Wooden wild card: Gonzaga says it wanted to get into the Wooden but UCLA wasn't that interested. Well, UCLA chose Davidson, a decision that earns high praise here. Davidson will be a quality mid-major and playing in Anaheim (Dec. 8) should provide an entertaining matchup."

HUH?

Why do I feel like they are trying to avoid our vengeance? Oh well...Bruins, Huskies....what's with the Pac-10 snubs?

I definitely feel that it is more like respect than a snub, even if they would never call it that. For whatever reason, Howland didn't want to play as high of quality competition as was available. Hopefully next time.
