I checked the scores early and saw that Minnesota was kicking the crap out of Wisconson, then Wisky hit a 3 and took the lead 3-2!

Too bad that the best team I can ever remember at GU, should they advance to the FF (big supposition), will have to face Kentucky at some point. They are unbelievable. Duke without Okafor wipes out Clemson, and Villanova and Wisconsin win also by comfortable margins (Kaminsky very mobile and plain scary). I suspect that Villanova might face an upset before they get to the BET, or perhaps there, and the same for Wisconsin and Duke, possibly. Either Duke or VA is going down at some point, so the 1 seed is still plausible for the Zags (even likely, assuming they don't have any hiccups). Here's to no hiccups. I can't see the boys beating Kentucky, sorry to say and I am still a little concerned about teams like VCU and SDSU who play stiffling defense.

Am I the only one who absolutely cannot figure out how Texas has 10 losses?! Seriously, how did they get soooo bad? They "should be" a top ten team on paper and in fact were early in the season.

I know Few and Barnes are friends but I swear he's Romar's doppelgänger as a coach.
He consistently squeezes less from his talent than anyone should expect.

Pacific over Portland; 79-77. Must have gotten inspiration from the GU game.

Arizona 57 UCLA 47. Arizona was PUTRID in this game and still won by double digits. They had around a 7 minute scoring drought in EACH HALF. And still won by 10. All 5 starters were bad, only one of them scored in double figures. Stanley Johnson, Hollis-Jeffererson and Brandon Ashley, their 3 leading scorers on the season, were a combined 4-25 from the floor and scored 14 points total. And they won by 10! Alford went off for UCLA but he didn't get much help. Pretty much every frontcourt player fouled out for UCLA. It was one of the strangest, ugliest games I've ever seen. At least Arizona avoided a loss, and with UCLA being swept on their road trip to the desert, probably ended their Tourney hopes.
