Wouldn't it be amazing if Georgia beat Kentucky in Lexington?

I know, I know, it would be amazing if I won the Powerball, too.

Still. . . .

Whoops. Five minutes after posting, discovered the game on ESPN U....

Kentucky 42
UGA 27

Halftime.

Is it just me or is Kentucky's only play having their guard drive the lane and either throw it up for a lob/dunk or kick it out for a 3?

St John's getting killed

Wasn't somebody (not you) just predicting the Johnnies were about to go on a winning streak? I've figured for quite a while they just aren't that good this year. They are really running out of time to turn it around in conference games.

St. John's center got booted early and Georgia is missing their leading scorer.
This could be an 0fer.

Maybe Georgia can take them out at home.

UK up 9 with 40 seconds left.

Had a possession to go down 2 or 3.

Kentucky is just too good defensively. They can go stone cold (as they did) and just not give up any points. They are too big and too fast. I just don't see how anyone can beat them unless they are way way off.

Zags beat UGA by 12 on a neutral court.
UK beat UGA by 11 at home (and Georgia was without their leading scorer).

UGA outrebounded UK 43-27.

Oh, it was you? Sorry. Hey I've made plenty of predictions that didn't pan out to be correct. St. John's has some talented players no doubt, but they just aren't winning games. Tough year for them.

Hawks and Billikens going to OT.

Miami still hanging with Louisville, down 3, 5:40 left.

Edit: The hawk dies in OT, 68-61.

Edit2: Louisville hangs on to win, 63-55.

Ouch, that was only St. Louis' second conference win. They've fallen off a cliff since last year.

Off topic, but UConn women's coach Auriemma joined the 900 win club tonight, did it in fewer games than anyone in history.
