Anyone know anything about the super-frosh at Lewis and Clark? If so, give us a scouting report. Thanks.

Well my son, who is a Jr. at LC, says he is the real deal!

Watched Naje vs my sons team Friday. He's around 6'5 with long arms and athletic. He's a D1 player, but he's going to need to work on his guard skills to translate to the next level.

There's actually 3 other kids in the GSL that have opportunities to be really good.

Devin Culp 6'5 freshman Gonzaga Prep.

Mike Ervin 6'2 freshman Ferris. He was leading GSL in scoring through 10 games.

N'Keil Nelson 6'4 sophomore Shadle Park. Imo has the highest ceiling of any player Spokane has produced in past 10 yrs. Here's his Hudl highlight vs Ferris on Friday.

Nice length and frame to grow. Real awkward looking shot though.

Wonder if this is the ~6'5" mystery recruit spotted at the game on Saturday?

Have to be a Jr. to take an official, 720. Pretty sure they couldn't "officially" provide seating.

I hear that Mark Few's son is playing Freshman basketball at G-Prep. I hear he has just as many flashy moves as his Dad. You know those coaches' kids bring a special aptitude to the game. Examples are Stepp, Pangos and Olynyk.

I saw him play on SWX. It's not difficult for locals to scout him in the GSL- just go to a game. He certainly caught my attention as he seems much more ready to play than most freshmen and not at all shy about wanting the ball.

He's still very coltish, but the shot went in!

Thanks for all the info on kids. Interesting. I guess we'll just wait and see how they develop.

He better get his height from his mother.

Don't see a Stockton on the G-Prep roster-- unless he is jv.

Glad to hear that Zags are recruiting Steven Beo. Romar has been here visiting in the last few weeks.

Two freshman currently on the varsity squad at G-Prep.

One of the freshman is Devin Culp-- his mom Pia, is a big Zags fan and Devin has been to a few Zag games this year-- glad we are on him early as it would be nice to have a local guy on our roster again.

Few is on the freshman team at Prep. Hasn't played most of the season due to a wrist injury. Solid player, little underrated imo.

Sam Lockett is the other freshman (besides Culp) getting significant playing time at Prep. Much like Culp, Lockett is a freakish athlete still learning to play basketball. These guys could be unreal in a couple of years.

Nelson from Shadle is a gifted athlete but there are many issues there.

Shamrock Campbell is a freshman at Ferris that is starting along Mike Ervin. Campbell has a very complete game but may never get to 6'. Ervin is a scoring machine. May end up leading the GSL in scoring all 4 years.

CV has a freshman on the team as well. This freshman class is absolutely terrific. The best may be a kid out at Post Falls. Can't think of his name off the top of my head.
