I wasn't aware of this. It sheds a new light on why some teams tend to get home games against easier schools and why the easier schools gladly accept.

What strikes me as wrong is that the state can pay Alford $2.4 Mil plus, I'm sure, radio and other endorsement money, but can only pay Monson $250,000. That is a problem!

University of California system budget versus California State University system budget. . .no shock there. Plus, UCLA hoops are probably a revenue generator of a higher order of magnitude.

Article reads like Monson is getting his checking account replenished at a pretty healthy rate. . .good for him.

Doesn't coach Few get incentives as part of his contract as well? I swear I heard that somewhere.
