Via Travelocity, the air fare is not that bad, and flights have layovers in Denver, SLC and Minneapolis, depending in the airline. Time is as low as 5+ hours (Delta and US Airways).

I just don't see distance being a deciding obstacle for Rotnei Clarke and Gonzaga. If the above link doesn't work, try http://travelocity.com and type in necessary info.

Add the fact that 99.9% of Zag games are on nationwide TV (DirecTV and Dish) and the Clarkes and friends can virtually track Rotnei's every game.

Gonzaga + Rotnei = Perfect Fit

It's like someone made a Zag mold and called it Rotnei Clarke.

Honestly, it really isn't that bad. 5 hrs is like driving Spokane to Seattle (if you drive the speed limit, anyway...) Airlines have made the country so much smaller. I just hope Rotnei agrees with you, BZ.

...I just hope Rotnei agrees with you, BZ.

:agreed:

The only thing left off BZ's post was, "Dear Rotnei:"

I agree with Bob, traveling that distance should not be a problem. As a frequent flyer from Spokane to other destinations, that is not that far to go. I have been on 17 hour flights where my layover is in Japan, that can be exhausting. But, once you get to your destination is all worth it.

It is really easy to fly out or into the Spokane airport. Unlike the bigger cities where it can be a nightmare waiting through all the red tape and multitude of pushy people.

I consider any traveling within the U.S., not a big deal. Depends on your way of thinking, whether you are an adventurous person or a stay home and see the world through the eyes of a tv.
