Five points higher than the guy in second place. This is incredible.

A lot of NW kids on these lists. Saw that Harvey from EWU is leading scorer in the nation and Hawkinson from WSU is 8th in the nation for rebounding! The FG% for Sabonis is ridiculous though...lol

Wow. Not even close.

Good for him. Says good shot selection as well as skill.

This kid is spectacular as a frosh. Big motor, picks his shots well. Quick on his feet. He keeps this up, he'll be AA preseason. He's one of the best kids Tommy 's found. His numbers are quite amazing.

While this is fine recognition for Domas, the acclaim is not universal.

The NCAA requires a minimum of five made baskets per game to be shown in its computations. He hasn't and that is most likely why he doesn't show on the NCAA list.

Great for DS.

But look at Okafor's numbers? Twice as many shots as DS.

You know, the Knicks starting center next year :)

And also check out the guards on that list.

I think Okafor is the only guy on that top 30 list I'd consider a big time scorer. Seems like the key to having a high FG% is to be a secondary or complimentary player and really pick and choose your spots, while the D is keying on somebody else. That and probably mostly shooting from point blank range.

Was watching the Duke game this morning and they put up a graphic of Okafor saying he was #1 in the nation in FG%. In retrospect, yelling "bullsh*t!" in the middle of a crowded bar may have not been the wisest thing.

That's pretty ridiculous in this low scoring age. A guy averaging double digit scoring should qualify.

I love it, "Dontmiss Sabonis".

I can't believe how good he's been, minus the few adjustments he's had to make. Aside from his motor, I've been most impressed with his hands. He catches so well in traffic or on the break. And that dunk he had in transition off the Pangos pass, wow.

Min is 5 made baskets a game. He has 75 in 19 games as of now. I say he goes 25/25 next game.

ncaa is 5 makes per game...espn is 5 attempts per game, therefore sabonis sneaks in at #1.

you will find karno and wiltjer in the ncaa version, with karno making it in at exactly 5.0 makes per game.

Imagine how good he'd be next year. Then imagine how good he'd be in his Jr or Sr year. Imagining is all we may get come draft day. Luckily for us he is under the radar. Pangos and Karno are listed as late 2nd rounders on some sites but IMO Sabonis plays like no freshman we have ever had, even Harris IMO.
