I wasn't sure of the driving rules in Michigan, or if he had the time between school, basketball, and baseball to take Drivers Ed. What classes does he have this year? Lots of AP's/honors I hope.

ALL AP/honors classes! Yikes! I don't know how he does it along with basketball and baseball, it's unreal. I don't know the specific classes, but I'll ask. I know he's in an AP math class and an AP science class with all seniors. Basically all the classes at UD Jesuit are AP/honors. They don't mess around when it comes to educating young men, that's for sure! (in true Jesuit fashion!)

Based on state and national test scores, U. of D. High is currently ranked the best Catholic high school in Michigan. They regularly turn out National Merit finalists and semi-finalists and are among the top Jesuit high schools nationally. The alums worried from the mid-70s to the mid-90s when most of the Catholic schools in the city closed or moved to suburbs. The Jesuits made a stand, the school stayed in the city, and now school enrollment (all boys) is back up to around 800. Sports teams (thanks to Jordan and others) are back winning championships. The High is and has always been a special place in Detroit thanks to the Jebbies.
