Also, Wisconsin PG Jackson having foot surgery. That is a big loss for them.

I thought about that yesterday. So, take Pangos & Karno out of the lineup. Which league games do they lose?

Is McClellan or Perkins back? If so, none. Sabonis makes up for Karno. Our depth allows for McClellan or Perkins to just be average (although I think both are better than average) and we'd still be fine. Of course I'm just talking about the remaining games on our schedule.

If we didn't have Karno and Pangos we would have at least 1 maybe 2 losses on the year in league. If you think Sabonis makes up for Karno as of late you haven't been watching the same games I have been. Sabonis looks like he forgot what a pass is and is heavily prone to foul trouble. Also, without Karno it means Sabonis takes his minutes and in turn Nunez takes the minutes of Sabonis. If we were playing Nunez for 25 minutes a night, things would not go well. As for not having Pangos, no need to explain the problems there even if McClellan and Perkins are on the team. After typing out this post I would say without Karno and Pangos we would finish the season with 4 losses in league. Now imagine playing in the Big 10 as opposed to the WCC without your potential AA center and an all big 10 caliber point guard. It's not just bringing in the backups you have to account for, it's the backups backups that now are an important role on the team.

I have more faith in our backups I guess. Also, yes the backups would have to play more but other guys i.e. Bell, Wesley Dranginis Wiltjer would step up.
