Is the sophomore big they are talking about in this article a college prospect? I think they said his name was Rigby...just curious as I don't know either way. Of course, big in high school might be 6'5" too...

He's a welcomed kid! It'll be fun to see Jesse at the point in a few years. passes well, shoots well and a great kid.

Thread title needs to read "... and 46 total!"

And it sounds like it wasnt just a "give the ball to Jesse" thing either. They were playing against a scrappy school, on the road, who was obviously keying on him.

Dang, way to go Jesse!

Curious... Why didn't BYU go after Wade?

Kid is going to be a star.

He is sounding more like a high school Pangos every day.

Fantastic shooter, good attitude, smart, and team player.

I think they did. Talk before his committment was that he was probably going to BYU.

He was never a BYU kid. Loved Gonzaga for a long time and when we offered he accepted.

Brilliant night for Jesse!

From the sounds of it, his work ethic is simular to K Pangos as well...

Only 1 assist though. It appears from the boxscores that he's not a pg in the classic sense, but more of an undersized high scoring combo guard.

So, instead of him being a high school Kevin Pangos, he's more like a high school Gary Bell? I'll take it. :)

We are lucky, we are saying good bye to two guys that are almost as good a players as they are people, and bringing in guys that sound just like them.

Exactly, on all accounts. Still want Haley really bad for 2016 though

Davis played 5 players the whole game?

High school assists are a difficult thing to rack up. The point guard can pass beautifully every possession, but if the guy he passes it off to doesnt get the rock to fall, then no assist gets counted.

You really have to see him play to determine that. Agree w/ Hooter above; it could be that his teammates aren't that good so he needs to carry the scoring load. Assists also vary a lot from game to game depending on circumstances, so you can't go that much on a one game assist total.

My guess is that he both has good pg skills and can shoot. Guess we'll see in a few years.
