Its nice to have a real good travel partner. WCC opponents have to prepare for two tough games when they travel to the Northwest and when hosting the Zags and Portland. Focus too much on just the Zags and you are going to get swept.

Agree--they won't be able to spend all of their time preparing for us when we go on the road--and when they swing through our neck of the woods.

Yeah, I think there's gonna be a lot of teams that end up going 0-2 on the Gonzaga/Portland road trip this year.

portland can definitely hang with byu and smc at home...especially with a healthy bailey. besides the zags, they also beat byu at home last year.

I like their game, mostly because it's so damned frustrating. Creating havoc, hitting afterburners, using multiple snipers, muscling around the post with physical bigs and selling fouls are all effective against the Zags. And Portland can run its schemes well; Reveno has a good system with talented players. Wintering is especially fun to watch.

When Bailey is back in the mix these guys will be deadly.
