A "W" is a "W" right ? Feels like a big sigh of relief is in order versus a happy happy, joy joy celebration. . .

Who earns the early Christmas gift as the Zags' player of the game?

My vote goes to Karnowski.

Honorable mention to our new television celebrity, Gozagswoohoo!

Pangos. He really competed when a lot of guys were on Christmas break already. Hit a lot of timely shots. He looked pretty angry out there too at the poor play.

Tough call to make, but I went with Karno. I could have easily voted for Pangos.

Voted for Karnowski. He had more assists, steals, and blocks than Pangos ( 1 of each )

Zags would not have won without either of them.

Captain KP is the Zag for me. He willed GU to win and hit crucial shots. Only 1 turn over from your main ball handler, given the pressure they put him under that was pretty good.

A big shout out out to PK as well.

That's an interesting perspective. Def the plate of the game if I didn't have to pick a zag.

If that guy can learn to shoot FT's and develop a decent 3 pt shot he'll play in the NBA. A lot of "ifs" I know, but he has some skills and he can defend.

I went Pangos. Seemed like every time Cal Poly tried to climb back in the game, Kevin did something huge like hit a 3 or take a big charge.

Definitely a great game by Karno too. I agree with Fox though, that I'd like to see Karnowski go TOWARD the basket just a little bit more instead of that little fadeaway he was doing last night. It's a great shot, I just think he'd have a little more success attacking the basket.

Just watching the game now after an evening of visiting with relatives .... so far Mt. K is playing quite well. In looking at the box score I see 16 turnovers for both teams. Karno with 0 and 1 apiece for Kevin & Gary. Mt. K was also the top rebounder for the game @ 8 - even through the Mustangs out rebounded the Zags by 33-28. Kevin scored some key baskets but I'm having to go with Mt. K for the Unit. Shemmick plainly looks to be on a mission no matter who the Zags are up against.

Pangos for me. Karnowski a close second. It was really nice to see Kevin shooting the 3 well again. Each and everyone was a diamond in the rough, MONEY. He was also tougher on Defense then I've seen in awhile. Glad to see these two play so well when the team was obviously flat. I'm glad I didn't pay and drive to Seattle to see that game. I will say that overall the Zags played good defense, and fought hard. Everyone accept Wesley. Wesley was a huge disappointment last night.

Go Zags!!!

Other. Going to give some love to Bell. Stat line doesn't light up, but any player who takes 3 (I think it was) charges in a game should be commended. The award could also go to the team as a whole for good free throw shooting! Was a win, and that's what matters.

Bell contributed in a lot of intangible ways tonight. No one really had the stat lines and only Karno and Pangos really stood out.

The big man (PK) got it done tonight..he's on a roll. Nice clutch shots from KP too. That is the best 5-5 team in America.

The nastier the game...the nastier BIG K gets. Sabonis gets feisty too..I like that.
