Thank you, Reno and Gonz. Any tips on how to get good seats? We've been told "best available" when it really wasn't. One year we had folding chairs down on the floor behind the basket. Not so good.

so today I bought tickets thru the Orleans arena.
here what I was told, they are only selling the tickets for the whole package, but at $135 or $!75 its a bargain even if you only go to the semi's and finals like I will be doing.

they only have tickets in sections 101, 102, 118 and 119 at $135. they have seats on the floor immediately behind the basket for $175

they have no "good" seats such as sections 103-105 and 115-117, those were given to the member schools. I was told some of those tickets almost always are returned by some of the schools, those probably will be made available in maybe a month, they were not sure when exactly.

there maybe other avenues available thru the university? I do not know. so I went with section 118, a bird in the hand.

We were in section 8 last year. It wasn't half bad actually. Getting tickets via GU this year (rather than through the Orleans). Not sure yet where we're seating. Selected an option to get into the P2 area but won't know if that's a go until likely a month from now (or later).

Per this schematic, are those the benches on the right side of the court or press row?

Anybody having luck buying tickets? Every time I try it says unable to process request. Are they sold out?

Scored 8 tickets, same row, in Section 10, the risers behind the backboard. Had the form loaded, etc. at 11:58 and clicked "add to cart" at Noon.

Have been in Section 118; not a bad view of the festivities at all. The seats in the Yellow highlighted areas seem to get swallowed up in the allocations to the member schools.

That's press row. The team benches have been in front of Sections 103 & 105 in years past.

It's possible the limited number of tickets available today were gone within an hour or so. A couple of years ago, they sold out the joint in something like 90 minutes; I remember that because there was a TV interview with Jamie Z., the WCC Commish at the time, where he boasted of that landmark.

Have been in Section 8 two of the last three years. Pretty good angle on most of the action. Orleans has pretty fair sight-lines and really doesn't have "nose bleed" seats that a 20,000 seat arena might have.

I went on line about 12:20 pm this afternoon and grabbed two tics for me and the Mrs. We'll be in Section 10, Row G. It was the best available at the time.

Here's a "Road Map" to the site for tickets through The Orleans:

Go to orleanscasino.com
Click on "Conciege"
Click on "View Event Calendar"
Click on the Burnt Orange arrow at the far right to scroll to March 5-10. WARNING: Don't scroll too far or you'll be in the WAC Tournament tickets. YIKES!!!!!
Click on "Learn More"
Click on "Buy Tickets" (Choose the Package option. Individual games are not available until the day of the game.)
Follow Step 1 and Step 2. And you're on your way.

50 - Reno is correct. The "right side" of the court is the Press in the middle with seats in sections 3 and 5. The teams are in front of 103 and 105.

Now,....... as for lodging..........

Be aware that The Orleans is SOLD OUT for Tuesday night, March 10. I think I figured out why. The WAC Tournament starts Wednesday, March 11. So,...... The Orleans is swamped that night with WCC and WAC fans. I ended up booking at the Orleans Thursday, March 5 through a check out Tuesday, March 10. We're then booked to move to the MGM Grand for Tuesday night, March 10.

Such are the ordeals one must endure to see our Zags in person.
